Back to HomeOur Methodology
How we approach every household
Every household's archive is different. Some families have kept careful records for decades. Others have boxes of mixed documents they have never found the time to sort through. Our services are designed to work equally well in both situations, because we begin by understanding what is actually there before we suggest any particular approach.
All three services follow the same core principles: thorough care with your papers, full transparency about what we are doing, plain-language written outputs that any family member can follow, and honest signposting when something falls outside our scope.

A calm, focused session that results in a clear printed inventory of where your important documents are kept. It is the simplest step you can take to ensure that the people you care about will not be left searching. The work is entirely organisational — we do not touch legal or financial advice — and everything is done at your home at a pace that feels comfortable.

- Thorough review of existing documents and storage locations
- A printed, labelled inventory of key documents and where each is kept
- A labelled folder set to begin organising your papers
- Signposting to official sources for items needing formal attention
How it unfolds
- 01.Telephone consultation to understand your situation
- 02.Half-day home visit to survey and inventory documents
- 03.Printed inventory and labelled folders handed to you before we leave
- 04.Brief closing conversation and any follow-up signposting

Best suited for
Individuals or couples who want a clear starting point — a single well-organised session that produces an inventory they can keep and update themselves. Also a good first step for families who are considering a more comprehensive programme later.
Best suited for
Households where family members need help starting and structuring conversations about wishes and planning — particularly families with members at different stages of life, or where these subjects have not yet been discussed openly.
Service Two
Family Conversation Facilitation Series
A gentle series of small-group sessions that helps families hold thoughtful conversations about wishes, record-keeping, and planning ahead — with simple structures to keep the discussions respectful, productive, and clear. Purely educational and supportive, with no advice on legal entitlements or formal arrangements. Each participant receives printed conversation guides to keep.
What this service includes

- Printed conversation guides for each participant
- Simple frameworks to keep discussions organised and unhurried
- Guidance on what to record from each conversation
- Signposting to relevant professional resources as needed
