About Perpetua
A practice built on patience and plain speaking
We believe that having your affairs in good order is a deeply human thing to want — and that the help you receive to get there should feel respectful, not clinical.

How Perpetua came to be
Perpetua was founded in Bangkok in 2018 by Nattaporn Wiriyakul, who had spent several years working in family legal administration and witnessed, repeatedly, the difficulty that families face when a loved one's affairs have not been set down anywhere clearly. Documents missing. Accounts nobody knew about. Wishes that were spoken but never written.
The name Perpetua comes from the Latin word for lasting and enduring — the idea that the work of putting your affairs in order outlives you, continuing to care for your family long after you are no longer there to explain things yourself.
The practice is deliberately small. We work with a limited number of households at any time so that every client receives patient, unhurried attention. We are not a legal firm and we do not offer financial or estate planning advice; what we do is help you gather, label, and organise the records that exist, and explain clearly where each one is kept.
Our clients are Bangkok residents — both Thai families and the international community — who want to feel settled and organised, and who understand that this kind of preparation is one of the most considerate things they can do for the people they love.
Our Mission
To help every household in our care reach the point where the important documents of a lifetime are clearly organised, plainly labelled, and easy for any family member to find — without pressure, without jargon, and at whatever pace feels right.
Our Values
- Dignity above all. Every client's situation is treated with full respect, and nothing is rushed.
- Honesty about our scope. We are clear about what we do and do not do, and we always point you to the right professional when something falls outside our work.
- Plain language. No technical terms where an ordinary word will do.
- Privacy by default. Your family's documents and information are handled with complete discretion.

How We Work
Standards we hold ourselves to
Strict confidentiality
Nothing learned in the course of our work is shared outside the household. We do not photograph or retain copies of personal documents. All notes are held securely and returned or destroyed at the end of the engagement.
Organisational work only
We do not provide legal, financial, tax, or estate planning advice of any kind. Our work is purely organisational and informational. When something requires formal professional input, we point clients to the appropriate resources.
Consent at every step
We ask before we open anything, suggest before we reorganise anything, and record nothing without your knowledge. Every stage of the work is agreed with you before we proceed.
Bilingual delivery
All written materials — inventories, summaries, briefings — can be produced in Thai, English, or both, according to your household's needs. Our team works comfortably in either language.
Unhurried pace
There is no fixed deadline, and we never rush a client. Sessions are scheduled to suit your household, and if you need to pause or reschedule, that is always possible without any difficulty.
Clear written records
Everything we produce is printed in plain language with clear labels. Our inventories and family briefings are written to be understood by any family member, regardless of background or familiarity with official documents.
Estate records organisation in Bangkok
Most households in Bangkok have accumulated decades of important paperwork — property documents, identity cards, bank passbooks, insurance records, vehicle papers, personal letters, and more. These items are scattered across drawers, folders, filing cabinets, and digital accounts, with no single place that shows what exists and where it is.
When a family member passes away or becomes unwell, this disorganisation places a significant burden on those left to manage affairs. Documents cannot be located. Institutions require papers that no one can find. Decisions are delayed. Perpetua's work addresses this directly, creating the clear, labelled record that prevents these difficulties.
A service for thoughtful families
Our clients are people who have reached the point in life where they want their affairs to be in good order — not because something is wrong, but because they understand the value of preparation. Many are approaching or past retirement. Some have recently experienced the difficulty of dealing with a parent's disorganised estate. Some simply want to feel settled.
Whatever their reason, they share a sense that this work matters — and that it deserves to be done with care, at a pace that feels considered rather than rushed. That is exactly what Perpetua offers.
